Trump's perceived betrayal by Pence reminiscent of Henry II & Becket

Trump's neither a King nor an honest broker yet expects and demands complete capitulation to every dictate no matter how criminal. While not excusing any of Pence's prior subservience to Trump - knowing damn well he was crossing legal and ethical boundaries - ultimately, like Becket, he knew when and where to draw the line.
