Alternate ending: Being afraid of the lack of information that is caused by the low number of photons in the frequency range that can be detected by the human eye at a volume of space, knowing that with this lack of information, you can't entirely neglect the possibility that there is something dangerous to your health and/or survival in the aforementioned space, that puts you in a fight-or-flight mental state that you inherited from your parents as genes that allow you to be in this state, which is an evolutionary advantage as it increases the chance that you will survive the situation that triggered this mechanism.
