💅💅💅HOW I OVERCAME MY ANXIETY (and sort of got rid of it, period!)💅💅💅
Soooo💅💅💅 you know that story time I promised y'all? Here it is.
💅💅💅💅💅As I said in my past storytimes I had a bad time in the wrong crowd in the crusty culinary camp 💅💅. So anyways. One day, the kids started making fun of this kid that was in my babysitting training. They made fun of her succulent business!!! (IKR!! I LOVE SUCCULENTS IM LIKE THE CACTUS QUEEN!!!💅💅💅💅 LIKE RUDE) The kids from the non-crusty part came over and wrote on a piece of paper "stop being mean" and that's when something inside me just SNAPPED. I marched over to the succulent lady (lets call her Maddy) and whispered "I am SO SO SO sorry maddy for these guys behavior" and this one kid who I am 99% sure is in my Sunday school class (gross) said "*my name*, are you sNiTcHiNg on uS?" And I said "No, I am apologizing for you." And one of the mean girls were like "what-?"
Thats when I started the ted talk 💅💅💅 "YOUR BEHAVIOR IS UNACCEPTABLE AND YOU NEED TO STOP. NOT ONLY DID YOU MAKE FUN OF THAT GIRL BEHIND HER BACK BUT YOU DID IT IN FRONT OF HER TOO. MAYBE YOU GUYS WERE FUNNY AT FIRST (not really lol) BUT THIS HAS GOTTEN OUT OF HAND. YOU GUYS NEED TO MATURE AND QUIT IT." The girl's jaw dropped. "You said that to HER?!" LIKE OMG JHEBFJHERFHEHJEWR BRUHHH so I said "No, I am saying it to YOU" if that girl's big mouth could drop any further her jaw would've dislocated XD
So as the mean kids stared I ran over to maddy and apologized for everything and she said it was okay. and I have not been afraid to use my voice since, well most of the time ;D
