McDonalds sucks
I said it
Also, what you said about anime being it’s own downfall is true, and I want to apply it to the kpop genre.
Kpop is a huge business. Huge, booming! And western markets have already taken advantage of that.
Take the Grammy’s (or should I say, scammys). In 2019, BTS flew out ALL THE WAY FROM FROM FREAKING KOREA, to dance on chairs and perform with Lil Nas X for 20 seconds. They didn’t get a Grammy for any of their songs, which were just starting to go viral.
Then, the 2021 Scammys. For some stroke of god-like-luck, collaborations and groups were put in the same category. So, while BTS flew over AGAIN...they lost their Grammy to Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande (my girl Ari was also a Scammys victim).
Okay, so I may be losing my point here, but, the west has already found out they can use kpop for views.
So then, this little known British company debuts a “kpop” group called Kaachi.
Online outrage, hate pouring out of every fandom’s ears from the amount of dragging these 4 girls got (one actually left after releasing the group’s 3 singles).
The only problem was that nobody was addressing why Kaachi and other “kpop” groups like it actually debut.
Because they know the fans go crazy, and it’s like a get rich quick. Kaachi now has a good couple of thousand views on their first video.
Kpop will be its own downfall
