The difference is miniscule. As I've said before, it will still be seen as a swastika, and the swastika, the shape in general, represents both you "Night" thing and also the Nazi party, but since the swastika has been correlated more with the Nazi party, it has been considered a hate symbol. I don't really see why you're trying to defend the use of it, and it was even deemed a universal hate symbol.

I made my icon the life rune, which was used by the Nazi's to create a perfect Aryan society. It is used by both non-racist and racist, as it has many meaning, but that's what makes it different from the swastika is that it's the same image. Also, the Hindu swastika has dots in between the gaps, but the Nazi swastika doesn't.
