Topic: Who determines salary rates?

sloth's suggestion: Either Congress via a vote, OR, the appointed "Secretary of Treasury" (a different official than the Head Banker).

The Head Banker manages the day-to-day, nuts-and-bolts of the Bank, while the Secretary of Treasury is a sort of political liaison empowered to make Bank-related political decisions like salary rates (potentially), the price of theme days/weeks, exchange rates, controlling inflation if it gets out of hand, those sorts of things.

Topic: Criteria for receiving paycheck

sloth's suggestion: Minimal PRESIDENTS stream activity that week (one meme or comment)

a week one comment or meme? id say how often your active on the stream via comments and posts depends on the amount you get paid basically like how an actual capitalist society is suppose to work you post memes often and comment and actually do something in the stream you get paid more your not active for that week you either dont get paid or you get very little

Yeah, but that's way too burdensome to track, unless someone wrote a program maybe.

i mean i could do that part and report it back or make a board for only us to see or if they want make it public to see how everyone else is doing to make ppl strive more for activity and cash more activity means more cash everyone wants cash so there willing to do as much as they can and if the spamming memes start we could put meme requirements to regulate it more these ideas will also create more jobs for ppl so everyone has a part but thats if you decide to do these

Right. Good ideas, but it will simply be too hard for whoever has to keep track of all that. They'd have easily The Worst Job On Imgflip. I ain't doing it. XD

i can easily do it im on basically 24/7

But you'd have no time left to make memes and actually have fun, lol. I'm telling ya: come payday, adding up the weekly activity for each of the dozens of people involved here is going to be a nightmare.

Congress will decide this, but my recommendation on pay-per-meme/comment is a strong nay.
1 up, 3y
thats the good thing about adhd you can do almost everything hyper focused if you love what your doing also this is only going for ppl who actually have an account on imgflip bank rn not alot have an account but i can predict this will rise as soon as the bill is passed
1 up, 3y
and if we do hire more bankers we could give them the job to do so a group of people will make it easier to check the accounts and there activity

Alternatives: Pay-per-meme or comment

-Not a real alternative since tracking every single memer's weekly activity in detail would be way too burdensome on the Head Banker, and encourage citizens to make thoughtless spam memes and comments just to earn more.

also what about ppl who work overtime also like is on the stream and doing there job longer than required? my idea was to pay overtime my 15%

Topic: Salary rates

sloth's suggestion: 3:1 President:Citizen ratio, i.e. "social democracy"

Alternatives: 5:1 President:Citizen ratio, i.e. "Centrism" (this pay schedule was in effect for 3 weeks last term).

Other alternatives:

1:1 ("Communism")
2:1 ("Socialism")
7.5:1 ("Capitalism")
10:1 ("Hyper-capitalism")

The government has the right to design and implement even higher income inequality ratios, but I wouldn't recommend it, as this might lead to

I’d say go for either ‘Centrism’ or ‘Capitalism’.

I do believe in equality, but I also believe that the higher up you are on the social ladder, the more you should earn.

In my opinion the RUP was claiming a LOT of money last term from holding the highest seats — and ironically, not using it.

However, now that we have a Libertarian Alliance and broader representation among Parties, income inequality doesn’t seem as troubling.

Still, I think this could be the salaries.

(This may be a little harsh to SuGaS but I wasn’t sure on the HoS salary).

if we was going to do a citizen ratio we might either wanna do either the 1:1 or a 2:1 or communism or socialism also is there gonna be taxes or any other additional payments we need to do example rent or buisnesses (if they have one)?

We can't have Fascists like Shuriken earning the same amount as active hard working Congressmen like me so Communism is ABSOLUTELY OFF of the window.

Similarly, Socialism is way too equal as well. Some inactive person like McKennzo could earn half the wage of the President, so that's also off the table.

I think we should use one of the Capitalist Systems. Sure, it means more inequality but I'd rather Envoy be payed 10 times more than Shuriken than they have equal payments.

i have changed my mind money has taken control of my mind and i want only that and work to be able to have more than everyone else i need to do what i always dreamed of and i can only fullfill that thru cash and money lets make ancapistan a thing now lets get rid of the state and make it to where you can buy everything from breathing to taking steps my mind has been on nothing but cash cash cash i need it in order to live and be able to function in this society where money rules everything all i ever want is the power to show that im better than everyone now with ancapistan close to becoming reality we can have unlimited power to do as we please cus we are above a higher class in fact lets go further lets do hyper ultra capitalism where only the rich controlls all of the poor people a monarchy inside a hearachie let the rich rule let the poor remain unhelped and the rich be the next leaders money is love money is life let money rule

Yep, last term we had parties setting up PACs. Look through the Bank account stream and you'll see them

Topic: Head Banker

sloth's suggestion: Me! (I actually wouldn't mind having someone else run it, since it's a lot of work, but I don't know if anyone else is equipped to do it - at least not without first seeing it in action for awhile)

Topic: Theme days/weeks

sloth’s suggestion: Depends on the salary rate, but I would set theme days at about 1x a President’s weekly salary, and theme weeks at about 5x a President’s weekly salary. They are like a big celebration, and basically, the most desirable thing you can buy with PRESIDENTS cash.

That might seem out of reach for average citizens, but they can hustle on the free market to supplement their incomes, or even pool their money with other memers to make a theme day/week purchase.

Theme day/week purchase money goes back into the Bank (i.e. out of circulation) — this serves as one way to keep inflation in check.

Topic: Fines, taxes, civil judgments

Likely a controversial topic, but I don’t see any problem with the government issuing financial penalties to discourage bad behavior. It’s actually less coercive than banning someone, which is the only other real tool available (and consistently clashes with every government’s formal commitment to “free speech”).

Example: A citizen begins spamming threatening terrorist memes against another based on their nationality. (I don’t know when or why anyone would do this). The target of the harassment could take the harasser to civil court and earn a money judgment. That could either be done in front of Congress or the judiciary.

Topic: Memers who hold more than one position

sloth’s suggestion: Pay the memer at the highest rate they’re entitled to, but don’t double (or triple-) pay them.

[Technically, everyone who holds a position is a Citizen (base rate: $100) *and also* whatever title they hold, but it doesn’t really make sense to pay them their salary + $100.]
