A prophylactic helps prevent things like viruses. Just like the vaccine is a prophylactic. Just like the antiviral they are coming out with. So its specific to preventing viruses. In this case ivermectin is used to prevent chemo patients from getting viruses due to their weak immune systems. Now if you test the stuff after the infection and say it doesn't work is that not disingenuous? It would be like getting the vaccine while you have covid. Oh it's not working! lol
