Correct. I do, however, understand how you might have misinterpreted what I posted. My message was entirely focused on the fact that even back in 2016, Graham knew damn well Trump would be a destructive force, yet nevertheless became his sycophant and enabler after he won the Republican nomination to advance his own self-serving social, economic and/or political interests, rather than serving the best interests of his constituents.
On January 6th, his prior concerns proved to be entirely valid and railed against the destruction to the Capitol on the Senate floor that evening, proclaiming he had "a good ride" with Trump and hated to see things "end this way" and that "enough was enough", yet days later reverted to be a snivelling protector of Trump once again to protect his own political career.
