The women turned to her, giving her looks. Ethel backed away and ran out the nearest door

Amber scolds the women harshly for making her butler- and above that, her friend -uncomfortable.

Ethel sighed and peeked out the door. He watched the women, whine and scatter away as Ethel left. He sighed of relief and pulled down his mask, going back in

Amber approaches him and says softly- “I’m so sorry about that. They’ll never bother you again.”

He smiles under his mask and nods "Thank you, miss." he bows his head a little

“It’s no problem.” She goes to continue speaking with the guests

He glances as she walks away and cleared his throat, walking the other way to get a drink. He spotted a familiar blonde with a black-haired girl. He smiled under his mask and decided to leave them be.

after everyone leaves, amber is exhausted- she wished her father wouldn’t make her talk to so many people.

He went to his room and sighed, putting his mask down. He stared at himself in the mirror. He had a huge burn scar on his cheek and neck. He also had stitches closing his wounds from his scars. He looked away. He hated looking at himself. He sighed and laid down, closing his eyes and falling asleep

Amber could not sleep- she had an awful dream.

Ethel was talking with the same blonde he had spotted earlier. She smiled "Come on Ethel, it's not that bad." she said quietly, sighing. He shrugged "I don't like it, Bianca." he muttered. She smiled "Remember, not a curse. A reminder." she turned her heel and walked the other way. He sighed and sipped his drink

Amber goes to take a nap

The woman looked at them, annoyed. Ethel had his mask down and he was looking away, clearly uncomfortable.

A dimly glowing orb is slowly coming towards one of the women " Leave Ethel alone you broken records with epilepsy!"

The woman scoffed and rolled her eyes, walking away. The rest followed and Ethel sighed with relief "Thank you." he sighed a bit

"No problem bucko!" he spun his head in a circle since he has no joints

Mena: *approaches the crowd of woman with a cup of tea on her hand* excuse me fellow ladies i may not want to be rude but your making the butler uncomfortable i may ask you to stop. *sips the cup of tea*

The woman glance at her and scoff. They go back to chattering with Ethel. He had his mask down and was looking away, clearly uncomfortable

Mena: *blocks the crowd of womans from getting closer to Ethel and pulls out a small knife* I dare you madams to stop!

The woman all back away a bit. They whimpered a bit and scattered. Ethel sighed under his mask and glanced at her "Thank you, miss." he said

Mena: its alright call me Mena tho

He nodded "Alright, Miss Mena." he hesitated "Mena. I apologize, old habits." he chuckled a little under his mask

Mena: *puts back the knife* its fine no need to apogize

He nods "Thank you again, Mena." he said and glanced at the table, picking up his drink.

Mena: its fine *sips the cup of tea*

"Enjoying yourself?" he asked, lifting his mask a little to sip his drink

Mea: may...be?

He glanced up at her "Oh? How come?" he asked, sipping more of his drink

Mena: *puts down cup of tea* eh letting out my knife is a bit fun-

"I didn't want to scare the guests away, so I didn't pull out mine.." he said as he put his drink down and pulled his mask down

Mena: its embarrassing tho-

sammy:*walks over to the horde of women*please leave my butler alone before i call my guards on you*looks calm but my voice is clearly angry*

The women glance at him and whine. They left as Ethel had his head turned the other way, his mask down and looking uncomfortable

women.... always being a pain in the butt(im a girl but this is true)*looks at him*why dont you go up to my study and just sit in there and read for a bit they wont mess with you up there

(I'm a girl as well, and it's true, we are lol-) He lifted his mask a little, only showing a small smile "Thank you, sir..." he said quietly and pulled his mask down. He grabbed his drink and headed out the door

*nods and smiles*

He glances back and smiles again and then makes his way to the study. He lifted his mask and put it on the desk. He sighed and glanced outside, trying his best not to look at his reflection. He had a burn scar on his cheek and neck, they also had stitches closing wounds from the burns. He sighed and sipped his drink

*he could hear me yelling at a guest*

He hesitated and covered his ears. He tightly closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths. He hated yelling. He opened his eyes and looked down, still covering his ears

*a few minutes later i come up into the study*

He glances at him and smiles. All of them step back and Carlos hugs his sister. She squeals and Ethel sighs with joy "Welp, that took a while, but we finished." he glanced at Sammy "So? What do you think?" he asked, all looking at him

"Your breakfast is ready," he said as his plate was set down on a table and Ethel went back to the kitchen. He came out a second later with a muffin in his hand

"Does he not know we have guest rooms-?" he asked, pointing inside the residence

i told him that but he still wanted to nap in my room i swear i was fighting the urge to punch that kid in his face

He widened his eyes a bit. He realized he didn't have his mask on. He lowered his arms and looked away "I-it's fine..." he muttered

He sighed with relief "That's great, I didn't know how long I could've hidden here without a woman finding me in here." he said and rolled his eyes "Not like it hasn't happened." he muttered

He laughs and nods "Yep, she does. And if that doesn't work, I give her a few dollars so she can go buy a new one when you don't notice we broke another broom-" he said while looking inside

*laughs again and is know twirling a rose around in between my fingers*

His frown was turned into a laugh. He went over by him and snickered, then smiling "I guess you could, Bianca's nonsense, my anger issues, and Carlos' patience and careless. Yep." he nodded and laughed again

bianca used to bug me about random stuff i swear that woman is filled with energy

He frowned is something bothering you?" he asked

no im fine sometimes i just zone out

He made it to his room, which was a bit hard since Bianca kept following him and asked him stupid questions about his love life, which he neglected he ever had one and kicked her away. He yawned and put his mask on his table. He changed and then let his hair down, which was pretty long, and laid on his bed, yawning

*stayed out in the garden and soon falls asleep*

He nodded and glanced at him then smiled. He glanced at his friends "Oh, stop wining Bianca." he laughed and walked off with the girl in his arms, while Bianca cursed at him. Carlos kicked her other shin and she groaned. He laughed and made his way to her house. A while later, he came back and yawned, Carlos and Bianca had left.

*still sitting on the ground but my wings are wrapped mostly around my body*

Ethel quickly glances at him and sighs "Did you forget there were thorns in roses?" he asked calmly, as he put his hand in his pocket and took out a clipper. He quickly pulled the thorn out and then carefully wrapped a bandaid around it that he had in his pocket

Bianca and Ethel glanced at him, and he smiled "Hey!" she said, "What's up?" he asked as he put his stuff down and walked towards him

He comes out again with a smile on his face, while Carlos is holding back Bianca, who is cursing at Ethel. "Don't mind her, she's...annoyed let's say." he chuckled and sat back down

He nodded "Nosy person she is." he smiled and rolled his eyes playfully "So enough about my terrible life with her, I have to get working." he said and picked up the plate with a smile

im gonna be up in my study if anyone needs me*goes to my study*

He was sitting down on the bench. Bianca was sitting next to him, her head on his shoulder and sleeping. Carlos is on the other side, his head also on his shoulder and sleeping. The little girl was sitting on his lap, also sleeping. He had his head leaned back and a butterfly was on the tip of his nose

*laughs slightly*i see you've become a pillow

He glanced back at him. Bianca had also poked her head out, a little surprised "Well, that's very kind of you." he smiled and pushed Bianca away "Personal Space, Bianca." he said and she rolled her eyes, smiling

*shakes head and laughs*you guys act like siblings

He frowned at that and quickly turned to face him "Well then they're idiots for not caring" he said

eh ive learned to deal with it over the years

He glances at him for a while and then smiles slightly "If you say so." he said and looked back at his friends, who were concentrating on their planting

"You're right darling, let's go visit him, shall we?" he took the little girl's hand and glanced at his friends "I'll be back." they nodded and he led the girl to the study, where he knocked and poked his head in "Sammy?" he asked

"And this is why I'm frustrated that I am." he groaned and hung his head "Well, without the mask, that might be a different story." he muttered and brushed his bangs away from his mask

honestly im surprised women arent hitting on my main guard

He chuckled "I feel like a parent, with an annoying child, a helpful child, and a small child." he closed his eyes and the butterfly flew away. He opened them again and raised his head "How's her actual mother?" he asked

she should be better tomorrow shes lucky her daughter warned me when she did

He nodded "A-alright sir..." he said and let his hair hide his face. He quickly grabbed his mask and put it on.

He laughed again "Has he been in your room for him to have such an obsession with it-?" he asked, resisting the urge to laugh again

nope his parents took him home early because they were to tired of him whining

He sighed again and smiled "It's fine, you're fine." he said and grabbed the rose, plucking out the thorns and then handing it back to him with a smile

*acts like a child getting a toy while grabbing the rose*

"That's still rude." he said and smiled a little at him and then glanced at the greenhouse

"You said you never had time to build a greenhouse right? Well, we have time, so we're building it!" he smiled and glanced at his friends, who were almost finished

He chuckled and nodded "Yeah, she really needs to stop threatening me." he rolls his eyes "But, she tries to fix them so you don't waste money on our crap." he smiled

He walks up to him and sits next to him "Her mother seems a bit better." he said, playing with a butterfly that landed on his finger

Bianca glanced back at him and noticed Sammy zoning out. She raised a brow at Ethel as if to say "is he alright?" he chuckles and nods. He grabs the watering can from them and sprinkles more on his spot

He sighed and nodded “Hopefully, they’ll be around here again.” He smiled at him

yeah..*looks at the garden then hears a deer in the woods and looks at it then walks towards it without it running*

He stands up as well and glanced at him. He dusted off his uniform and sighed "If you'll excuse me, I gotta go knock some sense into the twins." he smiled and approached Carlos and Bianca, then pulled them inside as they were arguing

*i go inside and i go into the kitchen and grab a bottle of water to drink*

Ethel was outside, talking with the guard. As women passed by, they giggled at them, making him feel uncomfortable, and gripped his arm. The guard sighed "Alright ladies, move it." he said kinda loudly. They walked away and he glanced at Ethel "They're gone." he muttered and Ethel let go. "Thank you." he smiled and walked towards the garden

*is sitting on a old stone bench and has a book*

"Her mother is sick. She has requested for you." he tilts his head to her and glances back at him

me:take her back outside i will be down in a minute

After a while, Bianca, Ethel, and the blonde guard, whose name is Carlos, came back exhausted. Ethel groaned. Carlos laughed "Calm down, Eth. You're not gonna die." he patted his back and Ethel scoffed "I will because of that witch." he stuck his tongue out at her and she hung her mouth open "How dare you! I am delightful!" she said and stepped on Ethel's foot. He hissed and was about to punch her arm when Carlos stopped him "OK!" he pulled Ethel away from Bianca "Don't be murdering each other." he eyed both of them

*had finished my food and was just sitting in my chair humming when they came back*

"She was THAT sick?" he asked, adjusting himself a bit so he wouldn't wake them up

yeah she must have been sick for a while

"Pfft." he laughed a little "Please, he wouldn't even let them breathe around him." he rolled his eyes and smiled, looking outside

He smiles "Yes, I know. My breakfast is in the kitchen. This is for someone else." he glances out the door and glances at the guard "I'll be back." he smiled and ran towards the guard. Ethel handed him the muffin and the guard removed his helmet and smiled while taking a bite out of the muffin. He was a little pale, with freckles, blonde hair that covered most of his eyes, and green but barely noticeable eyes. Ethel walked back in and smiled at Sammy before heading to the kitchen

*mind:ah so he was taking the muffin to the guard*

He nodded and stood up. He went behind the bushes and picked up a white rose. He plucked out the thorns and went back to him. He sat down next to him and handed him the rose with a smile

*plays with the rose happily*

"She may or may not have made me annoyed and I kicked her in the shins, as usual." he said while a few butterfly's landed on him

with how much she gets kicked in the shins im surprised she still has any

He nods and pulls out a white rose from his hair and places it on hers "Come darling, wanna see the flowers while we wait?" he asks smiling at her

the girl:yes please

He smiles and nods "You're welcome." he walks over to a spot he had placed dirt and pulled out some rose seeds. He made a little hole and placed one in there, then covered it up

*smiles*

He frowned and glanced at the girl "She must've noticed until recently how sick she was." he smoothed the girls hair a little

*sits down on the ground clearly not caring if my clothes get dirty*her mother told me that she didnt know she was sick until her daughter told her

He notices and frowns a bit. But, he said that he was fine. So, he didn't question.

*my wings wrap around my body*

He hung his head and nodded "She's way too energetic, and a curious person too. Did you hear what she asked me earlier?" he asked, glancing outside and seeing Bianca talk with Carlos instead of working. He sighed

He smiled "He will hurt women if he has to. I can't. So, they pick on me." he sighed and hung his head

He woke up the next morning. He had done what he usually does. Pulled his hair up, changed, brushed his teeth, made his bed, put his mask on, kicked Bianca until she woke up, the usual. He made his way by the entrance to say hi to the guard when he spotted Sammy, asleep on the bench. He laughed a little and approached him, poking his arm a few times "Time to wake up." he said with a small smile on his face

*wakes up and yawns*...did i really fall asleep here

He chuckled "They do." he smiled as the butterfly rested on his head "I don't know why though." he said

*shrugs*

He nodded and sighed. He poked his head out "Oi! Bianca! If you're not gonna do work, then do something else that's NOT completely useless!" he shouted. But, Bianca wasn't listening, nor Carlos. He raised a brow and walked over to them "Oi, what's going on?" he approached them and they were kneeling down by some bushes "Ew, I swear if y'all are making out" he gagged. Carlos rolled his eyes "Be quiet, Ethel, remember, she's into girls." he pulled Ethel down and nudged him towards what they were looking at. His eyes widened a bit. There were white roses growing. He noticed Bianca had a white rose flower crown, along with Carlos. Bianca then placed one on Ethel's head. They all smiled at each other

*is sitting in my study looking out the window*

He glanced at him and smiled. He sighed and glanced at Carlos and Bianca "You twins drive me crazy." he laughed and Bianca rolled her eyes, Carlos ruffled her hair and she scoffed

*i stand up and the back of my pants are covered in dirt but i dont care*

He laughed and placed the thorns in a napkin, so he'll be able to throw them away later. He glanced at Bianca, who was looking at him with a smirk. He frowned at her and slightly kicked her in "Go to bed, Bianca." he rolled his eyes and she laughed, walking away

*plays with the rose not paying any attention to the world*

"If that was my kid, I wouldn't have even brought him in the first place." he rolled his eyes and yawned slightly

thats why i hate some people,always taking kids to fancy parties

He smiled "We've been working for 6 six years together, even before we started working here." Bianca wasn't listening and stuck her tongue out at him before threatening him with a broom.

He hesitated and looked away, his face a bit warm. He took a deep breath and looked back and chuckled "Not your fault." he said and glanced at the butterfly on his flower

*continue happily playing with the flower*

He placed a hand on his shoulder "Anytime." he smiled and let go. He went back to his friends and helped with some finishing touches

*stands there and is really happy*

He nods and glances back at him, his mask fully down now "Alright sir Sammy-" he hesitated and shook his head "Sammy. I apologize, old habits." he said and chuckled a little bit

As she left, he glanced at him and smiled “Really like roses?” He asked

*nods*yeah they are my favorite flower

He chuckles and closes the door for the study and walks back outside. He points to the garden of colorful flowers with butterflies surrounding most of them. He glanced at her and smiled "Go ahead." he let go of her hand

the girl:*she runs to the garden and trys to catch a butterfly*

He chuckles a little "Bianca and Carlos found white roses growing behind some bushes." he pointed at his flower crown

He noticed him and walked over to him "Glad the guests are gone?" he asked, standing next to him with a smile

He smiled and the twins hugged each other, both smiling big. "Well, thank you!" they said. Ethel grabbed his hand and led him to the greenhouse, where plants were hanging from corners and some white roses were planted in the back

He nods "Did you need anything from up here?" he asked

well i just needed to get away from all the guests

"It seems so. Lucky for you, it wasn't a cold night." he said and laughed quietly again

He smiled and turned his heel to go inside. He went in and passed Bianca, who was smirking at him. He frowned at her "Don't even think about it." he said and walked past her.

*starts humming and goes to sit back on the stone bench*

Ethel was dusting off desks while Bianca was outside with her brother, annoying him. Ethel was humming to himself

*drinks the water while walking around*

He chuckled a little "That's very kind of you, Sammy. But, I can defend myself. I just don't hurt women, even if they do annoy me." he shrugged and glanced back outside "They annoy me sometimes, besides Bianca, the maid." he sighed "Other than that, they get on my nerves." he then muttered something else "This is why I'm not attracted to them."

hm?*tilts head slightly*

He caught him smiling, and it made him smile "Wanna plant some?" he asked, handing him the seed packet

mhm* crouches down and plants a few seeds*

A few minutes later, he came out of the kitchen with Bianca. She was pouting at him "Come on! You must've had dated SOMEONE!" she shouted. He looked away "I don't wanna talk about it." he said, frowning. She sighed "Fine." he smiled "Good, now go broom the ballroom floor." she had her mouth hanging open "I hate you." she turned her heel and walked away, frowning "Yeah yeah, love you too." he said and laughed. She glanced back at him and smiled and ran to the ballroom

*laughs at the little scene*

Ethel and Bianca were screaming at each other. Bianca was about to punch his arm when Carlos sighed and pulled Ethel away by the arm "Ok-" he got punched in the arm. "Bianca Gray!" he said and pulled her arm away. He stared at them both "Apologize." he said, frowning. Ethel rolled his eyes and Bianca scoffed. He sighed "Alright, Bianca you come outside with me and cool off. Ethel, you stay inside." he smiled at him and dragged Bianca away. Ethel sighed

i could make a comedy movie out of everything that happens with yall

He laughs quietly and walks back to where Carlos and Bianca are talking. He smiled at them and kept an eye on the girl

He smiles and looks back inside to see Bianca holding the now-fixed broom "I did it!" she said, sounding so proud of herself. Ethel smiled and took off his mask. Bianca glanced at his face and smiled "I don't get it why you like to hide your face, Ethel..." she said, Ethel looking away now

*pricks my finger on a thorn*ah f*ck that hurts

He chuckled and nodded. He glanced back at the entrance and saw the last couple left "That's the last of them." he muttered

*sigh of relief*finally!

They had all stood up and were laughing. She grabbed Ethel's hand and he twirled her around. She laughed and Carlos smiled, chuckling as well. Ethel had a huge smile on his face, the white flowers were tucked into his hair. Bianca then accidentally lets Ethel's hair down. Carlos and Bianca stared at him in awe. He smiled and laughed, parts of his hair going over on his face.

*a young girl goes over to them*/the girl:excuse me

He stood up and got a watering can filled with water. He sprinkled some on his area and placed the watering can next them

*sprinkles a little water where i planted seeds and stays crouched down*

He hesitated "Nothing." he said and glanced at him, smiling a little then looked back outside

He chuckles quietly and spots a butterfly flying around. It landed on his flower. He smiled

“Mine too. I prefer white ones though.” He smiled and looked around the garden, not spotting any

He smiles and spots Bianca at the entrance, with her usual smirk. He frowned and glanced at him "Excuse me for a moment." he smiled and stood up, walking towards Bianca and kicking her shin again. She groaned "Why?!" she said and Ethel dragged her in

He nodded and glanced at the girl. He stood up and carried her, Bianca and Carlos yelped. Bianca groaned "What the hell, Ethel?" she wined and he kicked her shin "Watch your mouth." he frowned and glanced at the girl. She hissed and Carlos laughed quietly. Ethel smiled and glanced at Sammy "Should I take her home?" he asked

He nodded "That's right. Would you like to come in now?" he asked and glanced at the entrance and waved at the guard, who waved back slightly. He smiled and glanced back at Sammy

After a while, Ethel had changed into more comfortable clothes and was outside with Bianca and Carlos, who had also changed. They were building something rather large at an empty spot of the garden. Carlos was busy nailing the wood while Bianca and Ethel were working on the walls. They had a ton of progress.

*walks outside to see them*uhhhh???

Ethel didn't know if the yelling had stopped, so he still had his ears covered. His ice-blue eyes (which sometimes look pure white) were looking down at the floor, his mask still on the desk

"Pffffft." he burst out laughing. He lifted his mask since it was kinda hard to laugh when a mask is over your face. He smiled and noticed his mask was up. He quickly moved it down "Why'd they wanna go in there?" he asked, still laughing a bit

because he wanted to take a nap but the kid was like seven

He snickered and ended up bursting with laughter. Bianca stood by the entrance, her mouth hanging open, and Carlos dying with laughter. "That is SO rude-" she scoffed and kicked Carlos in the shin "Didn't hurt." he smiled and she groaned

*laughs*

He chuckled a bit and nodded "Alright." he said and glanced out the window "Erm, what time is the party supposed to stop?" he asked, lifting his mask a little to see outside

*checks watch*in about a hour

He snickered and looked inside, everything was a mess. He sighed and smiled "Welp, at least I'll be busy tomorrow." he poked his head in "Oi! Bianca! You're helping me with all this tomorrow!" he yelled, a whine was heard and he laughed

He looked at him a bit surprised "Really? No way." he said and smiled. He realized he was still holding his hand and quickly let go, looking away

He glanced back as he noticed Carlos and Bianca were also planting seeds. They must've come in quietly since he didn't notice them. He glanced at their seed packets, they were attempting to grow sunflowers. He smiled and passed the watering can to them

He nodded and grabbed the broom from her before snapping it with his hands. She groaned "Third broom this time Ethel!" she yelled at him "Well then stop trying to fight me with a broom, idiot!" he threw the broken broom at her, and she caught it "Fine, I'll go fix it." she stuck her tongue out and he did the same before she walked away

so this is why i buy so many brooms

He walked over and held the girl's hand "Would you like me to keep an eye on her while you're there?" he asked and stretched his finger out, a butterfly landed on it and carefully placed them on the girl's head

me:please do so*walks away and a bit later i come back*

Ethel glances at her and smiles, putting his mask over his face. He kneeled down and raised it just a little, so she could see his smile "Hi there. What are you doing over here?" he asked, his long hair going over his shoulder

the girl:im looking for mr.sammy my mommy is really sick and he is said to be a healer

He glances at him and raises a brow "Sammy? You alright?" he asked

He snickered "You certainly don't act your age when you're around flowers." he said, laughing a little more

*pouts*its not my fault i really like flowers

He sighed sadly “Such beautiful flowers..” he muttered

i need to get a private green house for flowers that i want to keep alive sadly i never have the time to

He caught his eyes and snickered a bit before smiling. He then realized Bianca had run back and grabbed his hand "If I have to suffer cleaning the ballroom floor, you and Carlos have to help me." she smiled and ran with Ethel behind her "What did Carlos even do in this?! He's the guard!" he yelled as she ran past the corner while he was yelling at her

He nodded and as soon as he left, he groaned and hung his head. "You look terrible." said a blonde woman, who was standing by the door with a smile on her face "What did you think, Bianca." he muttered and sighed. She smiled and rolled her eyes playfully, waving bye at him and walked away, He sighed and sat on a chair, removing his mask and sipping his drink

[timeskip to a hour later]*is tired from all the guests and is now sitting in the garden*
