the enola gay is actually preserved in a museum in chantilly virginia. and the bockscar (yes thats how its spelled) is preserved in dayton ohio

i want to pima air and space museum in Tucson,Arizona across the street there's a bone yard of old usaf plane b 52s you name it i just want to buy one restore it and fly it again .

That is a sad ending for such beautiful machines. Especially WW2 planes, some of the last of the true breed of plane where a pilot only had his own eyes and primitive instruments.
