True story: One day, I was tidying up my place and I picked up what I thought was just a typical piece of black sock lint off a carpet and I placed it in my palm when all of a sudden, it sprouted eight legs.
The spider wasn't as big as in this stock photo, but it was a shock nonetheless. :)
