The limos got over there via U.S. military jets too, btw, at least the ones that the president uses. The secret service won't let the POTUS ride around in just any limo, especially overseas. The limos are up armored with bulletproof glass. I don't know if that's true for all the various staffers, but it is for POTUS.



It would be interesting to find out if we transported that entire 85 vehicle fleet over there or if some of those are the Italians'.

I'd have to assume a lot of those vehicles were those of Italian police and other officials.

But how did they do it?! Did they shut down traffic through most of the city?!

Right? Vehicles sitting at idle waiting for a VIP's convoy to pass by raises the carbon footprint even more.
