I never answer you back anymore. I've found you ae her mainly for the polemic —to incite but not to learn. But the reality is just the opposite of what you are saying re: government subsidies. As one who is friends with and has worked for Texas, Oklahoma and Canadian oilmen, I can say that they use their own money, raise money or borrowed money from professional lending institutions to drill, store and deliver their oil to be processed. Were it not for the oil industry, besides transportation, you hafta give up most toys clothes, kitchen appliances. When you fetter the oilmen of the oil industry with uncompromising edicts (i.e. closing the Keystone Pipeline down), you force America to buy oil from our enemies [aka Russia & Iran] and they make us pay through the nose. I should be ashamed of myself for trying to communicate, but, in the vain hope of reaching a fellow memer with the clean, fresh air of reality....
