Just thinking out loud, maybe beating yourself up isn’t the best way to get rid of anger and sadness. Talking about it with someone could probably help, I know that’s easier said than done but there are definitely better ways to go about getting rid of negative emotion
I agree, but for some people they bottle up their emotions, and doing this is kind of like a release. That doesn’t make it ok, but I just think they don’t really consider that there are better ways to cope in the moment
