Some libertarians can also be hypocritical as champagne socialists. Many libertarians lecture you about getting a job and not being dependent on the state for handouts but such libertarians live in their mom's basement rent-free and try to make their living through useless bitcoin schemes. Ayn Rand was a prime example of such a hypocrite libertarian, she spent her life railing against socialism and government but in her old age she lived in poverty and had to live off social security and Medicare.

Many pro-lockdown leftists are liberal mainstream media journalists who haven't lost their high-paying jobs to the lockdowns and don't care about how you are suffering from losing your job to the lockdowns so I think what I'm saying is justified.

trump should have encouraged 2 week lock downs that match the incubation period. red states would have done it. blue states wouldn't have been able to easily to long lock downs.
