ace and nonsexual aren't the same thing actually but nonsexual is under the ace umbrella in a sense but they aren't the exact same

it is possible you are asexual but it and nonsexual are different things and it's important to differentiate that

well asexuality is not experiencing sexual attraction to people you could still find an interest in sex or sexual activities while being ace for a variety of reasons since it's a spectrum and is different to everyone
nonsexual is harder to pinpoint since it means something different for a lot of people

sexual feelings aren't what determine asexuality sexual attraction is
when someone is asexual they don't experience sexual attraction to people they could still have sexual feelings in the sense of wanting sex or being in the mood for it they just don't experience the attraction of it to other people
there's three main categories for how people choose to go by while still being fully asexual there's sex repulsed meaning they don't want anything to do with sex pretty much at all sex indifferent means they'd be willing to do it to like have a child or to please their partner and there's sex positive asexuals who would enjoy the act of it and might seek it themselves in some cases but don't experience the attraction and would probably be willing to live without doing it
