I remember seeing something like that. Not doxxing per se, but some pretty targeted harassment. And wondering to myself why LaChancla of all people — as a mod of this stream — didn’t simply ignore the [deleteds] or just delete those comments. I think probably he (and everyone else, by the way) was too scared to. Delete one comment, unfeature one meme, and the next day your ass is impeached.
This whole “free speech” thing really went too far under the WN/Legion/[deleted] days. I’m sorry to burst everyone’s libertarian First Amendment bubbles, but it’s true. Harassment, Holocaust denial, Nazism, death threats, these bizarre new WN and other accounts — you name it. Mega toxicity, day in and day out. Big reason I left.
These days at least I think there’s a much broader recognition that you really can hit that delete button and not feed the trolls. So that’s good.
