Maybe when IG & the rest of RUP learns how to spell “LGBTQ” 🤪🥵🤯🤯🤯

When did I misspell LGBTQ? If I accidentally did, I'm sorry.

Perhaps you haven’t. However, IG, Firestar, and Via_Getty — every single one of your running-mates — has repeatedly and deliberately butchered the acronym LGBTQ for sport.

Let’s take Via_Getty, RUP’s HoS candidate, for instance. He’s submitted 11 memes in total to PRESIDENTS stream. imgflip.com/m/IMGFLIP_PRESIDENTS/user-images/Via_Getty

In no less than 2 out of those 11 memes he makes fun of LGBTQ as an acronym. What are his actual policies for the Senate? No one knows. When I asked him point-blank, he tripled-down on the same homophobic nonsense. imgflip.com/i/5rbotf Really shows you where his head is at.

You’re above that. Really, you are. And everyone can see it. This is what people mean when they say:

A bit like you butchering the acronym from 'RUP' to 'AUP'?

A tad hypocritical maybe?

“RUP” is a thing a couple dozen people (at most) on a meme site have chosen to identify with. LGBTQ on the other hand: tens of millions of people around the world are that, and being so can get them discriminated against, persecuted, or even killed.

Mocking one of these things could get you fired for discriminating — mocking the other will get you greeted with blank stares by anyone who doesn’t follow this stream obsessively.

(But other than that, yes, your analogy is correct)

It's the same though process as this scenario (forgive me if this is offensive, I can delete it later if so):

Let's say there are two tragedies that happened in the same week. One of them about 10 people were affected and in the other attack, about 100 people were affected. Because of these people being killed or injured during these tragedies, their families will also be affected by grief so the number of people affected by these attacks increases.

So, the news reports on these two issues. They hold a 10 minute summary on the 100 person tragedy and a 1 minute summary on the 10 person tragedy.

Of course, there will be more recognition for the 100 person tragedy since it was a bigger disaster with a bigger effect. But the friends and family of the 10 person tragedy are still affected, they're only human after all.

Just because something is smaller in comparison, doesn't mean that it just does not matter. The AUP joke is kind of funny I guess, but it's getting old now and I agree, so is the GBLT jokes. Can we just agree to put this behind us because it's pretty stupid at the end of the day.
