I gave myself away in this very manner - when trying to prank my mom once. Was hiding (as a kid) in a pile of clothes. Was gonna scare her as a prank. She walked into the room and ripped a loud one.

My plans went down the tubes when I was snickering and trying not to laugh.

Oh I think that played out even better than scaring her! I bet she always checked the room before cutting loose after that.

Also the face I make normally regardless of whether I'm alone or not. I'll choose everyone making gag noises or rolling down windows over abdominal cramps any day
