Actually Netflix started out as a legit business. Crunchyroll was a pirate streaming site that broke the golden rule of 'never charge people a subscription to watch pirated fansubbed shows cause it can real troubles for everyone.' How the hell they got legitimacy like they did instead of just plain shutdown is something people don't know.
