Many stories involve alot of brutal consequences in german fairytales

i used to watch stuff like that

i couldn't watch things like the walking dead but i could watch "kid shows" that were 10x worse

One of the fairytales involve a boy who never took care of his hair so it grew out and his parents didn't love him anymore
Another had a boy sucking his thumb so someone cut it off with garden scissors

To be fair, the WAY someone gets pregnant isn’t exactly kid-friendly

But then again, neither is brutal murder
