Also if we did go green to combat climate change, then heh. Have fun with that, according to algol on YouTube, in the next 1 trillion years, all of Earth will be a wasteland. No water, life extended to the polar regions due to the little water remains, and what happens if electric cars doesn't stop the climate from changing? Then mother nature will keep the climate change going. We will die in the next 1 trillion years. Unless if we can terraform Mars, but that's out of the blue type of situation.

Maybe the one thing that we can all agree on is that we need to find a planet that can support life and a way to get there. Then go there. In the long run, I think that we have a better chance of doing that then we do of influencing how the climate behaves one way or the other.
