tariffs do help, at a cost, i support them when applied strategically. the farm subsidy system also needs an overhaul. so does the tax code which would be even more effective at re-shoring than simple tariffs. i can't get with "get rid of government" libertarians. there has to be balance.

Where are the numbers that show a significant increase? Whatever increase there may be would not have this impact. The impact is more driven by lack of employees.

Well, SSTTUUTTAA, Modda, Mr. Cohaagen and StanHalen are other reasons I do it. I would also add ANONYMOUS, Manhattan, MiniAppleIs, and other PoliticsToo trolls in there. Out of all of them I really think Octavia_Melody is the most reasonable. That’s saying something.
