But being christian does not make you a good person. Being a good person is what makes you a good person. That doesn't mean all christians are bad people either, it only says that being christian is not what makes you a good person. You can be both a christian and a good person and very few people would argue about that.

I'm not sure if letting LGBTQ+ people marry and referencing Jesus to teach kids to love everyone alone makes you a good person.. I'd say one of those things is the bare minimum to qualify as decent and the other is just unnecessarily christian for my taste. 🤷
