Literally no one thinks Ron Paul's face superimposed over a sloth meme is Libertarian. This Alliance is gonna be really hard to hold together if I have to keep explaining to everyone why the NERD party is still shitting all over Libertarians.

Libertarians are selfish prigs who are far too complacent about things like climate change, the Covid pandemic, the civil rights violations of minorities, healthcare access, and ever-worsening wealth and income inequality.

But they’re better than the Auth-Righties who are complacent about all those things AND try to run your entire life with a 2000-year-old Holy Book — AND are happy to flush American democracy down the toilet to make it happen.

Tl;dr — we live in a society. You can retreat behind the “no step on snek” attitude, but I think life calls upon us to be and do more.

And that’s why I stopped being a Republican over a decade ago and stopped considering myself a libertarian at some point during Trump’s term.

But I’m happy to dig into my political past and make common cause with libertarians for purposes of winning a meme site election. Should you choose to make an alliance with TeH dEmOcRaTs!! :)

If you want this Alliance you can stop the false flag attacks for one week. That is not too much to ask.
I don't know what "Libertarianism" means in Europe or wherever, but in the US it's freedom FROM the government. Nothing you have ever advocated for on this website has ever been freedom FROM the government.

Freedom from Gov't overreach, freedom from jackbooted vaccine mandates, freedom to own the guns you want to own, not the single shot pistol Biden says you need, freedom from the Gov't telling you where you can practice your religion. Freedom freedom freedom.
Outside of the gay marriage, none of that is close to anything you've ever advocated for on imgflip presidents.

I don’t know what you mean by “false flag” attacks. Doom Paul? I actually voted for Ron Paul in the ‘08 and ‘12 GOP primaries. I just discovered the Doom Paul subgenre of memes and it’s quite entertaining to picture the ghost of Ron Paul circling in to seal IG’s fate.

When I wrote that IG was, or seemed to be, less of a homophobe — you can ask SuGaS who is lesbian herself and voted for the Pr1ce/IG ticket.

You can also ask… well, Pr1ce, who picked IG as VP last term but is now running for the LA’s HoC. Ask Strangmeme who is running for President again and who helped give IG his start in PRESIDENTS way back when. And at that time I opposed IG’s homophobia to the extent I walked out and started a competing government. I was hopeful that IG had matured under the more moderate Wubbzy/Pr1ce wing of RUP, but I was wrong.

Point being we could all snipe at each other over past support for IG, and when exactly he became intolerable to us, but what’s the point?

Anywho. There are all kinds of freedoms that traditional Lib-right priorities don’t account for. See: Meme. I dispute the idea I don’t stand for freedom. I think I have a more complete picture of how some people’s choices can have unfair and unnecessarily costly, even deadly, consequences for others.

I don’t rate a person’s freedom to forgo a free and safe Covid vaccine, cough on someone, and kill them or ruin their internal organs for life very highly.

If you and Richard wanna try to break the alliance apart over petty differences about real-world politics, you can try. But will you succeed? You’d have to convince Strangmeme and Pr1ce, and I think they’d rather have the votes. We’ve all given up something. N.E.R.D. is onboard and this ticket’s perfectly balanced. Matter of fact, right-libertarians are claiming the two most important positions (President and HoC), but we’re not fussing about that.

As for Richard: he's gonna do Richard things. I've been trying to get him to support the Alliance for a while and it's a non starter. But he's only got 4 votes so, he doesn't matter right now.
