Inspired by a recent kewlew post...what is your favorite breakfast meal? Mine will be in the comments.

Mine would be a combination of thick cut bacon, fried crispy, and Neeses brand hot breakfast sausage with 3-4 scrambled eggs cooked soft and fluffy in butter, American style (big curds, screw you Gordon Ramsay), a toasted and buttered English muffin (thank you England for something done right), a bowl of grits cooked Thparky style and one glass of fresh squeezed orange juice alongside a cup of strong black coffee.

Or serve me a mess of gravy biscuits and I'll be happy as a toddler with a touchscreen. Gotta be made from scratch though, or I'll be as angry as a toddler with a touchscreen just out of reach and no way to get it.

Fyi, Thparky style grits are made with only the finest ground corn, and a 2 to 3 ratio of water and whole milk, half a stick of butter, salt to taste, lots of fresh ground black pepper, and one slice of good old fashioned American cheese melted in per cup of grits prepared. Momma will slap you before you can slap her if you serve those grits to her...and no they are not advised for consumption by weight watchers.

Sounds good, although I'd cook the eggs in a pan instead of the microwave. That seems like blasphemy somehow, but you do you!

You didn't mention potatos, I'm shocked. My dad makes the best breakfasts. His famous truckstop is fried potatos with carmelized onions, sausage and eggs all mixed into one glorious mountain on your plate. A side a his cornmeal pancakes with mom's strawberry preserves, his omelettes are pretty darn good too. Pretty much an inside out truckstop all the potatos and sausage inside.

I also love fried potatoes with breakfast!
