Well then let's say, hypothetically, for the sake of argument, that the election is split among 8 people all with 12.5%, then you would have 24 senators

I like the idea of the current senate where separate streams get representation, however, I like this idea if instead of abolishing and switching to the senate, we create the house of representatives.

I dunno about other streams voting 🤷🏻‍♂️ It would probably turn out to be more inactive users voting whenever someone tells them to. A bigger senate that gets filled based on party votes seems like a better option than the winner getting majority the whole term

So you want to abolish our only chamber of government responsible for domestic affairs, and then apportion Senate seats based on election results instead of putting representatives from different streams in there? You do realise the Senate's role (when it does exist) is only foreign affairs right? Sounds to me like you're just trying to replace Congress with the Senate, meaning that abolishing Congress in the first place becomes even more dumb and pointless.
