Yeah, I rarely ever check the fun stream anymore. A lot of the posts are kinda cringe.

I know, its kinda sad. You comment on a meme and then realize the kid is like, 12. There should be a minimum age requirement of at least 16.

The problem isn’t the age limit, it’s that we can’t enforce it. Even when they admit they are underage, we can’t do anything about it, because “they might be lying”. It’s ridiculous.

It does seem that it's got out of hand. Maybe we should just contact the parents and have them take their devices away...😆

I have notice that If I want to get the viewing figures of the past - then post in the Dark Humour stream - It's very name suggests there may be some implicit parental guidance ? :~)

I would believe it. Posts are a lot less likely to get buried in a stream like Dark Humour or EAM than they are in fun. They’re definitely a lot more oriented towards adult humor as well, which is what I generally upvote and comment on.

What happened to the fun stream ? It feels like it been swamped by youngsters. I still post there but I really get more than 50 or so views - It's a bit disheartening so I post more in this stream but this one it seems only the same 6 people posting.
I will keep posting (hopefully) good memes

Most of the people on Imgflip nowadays are kids, so they outvote the adults and dominate the front page. I post to fun occasionally, but every post I send there flops. They generally do better in EAM anyway, so I submit here instead.

Some seemingly non cat related get by - I take my moderator status seriously - I disapprove far more than approve - If I don't get them, I leave them to others to decide ;~)

I am getting disillusioned with the fun stream. So many 'youngsters memes' posted that anything any good gets buried so far down only a few people see it.
But I don't post memes for the views or the up votes - I've always looked at memes as a platform to make at least one person, somewhere in the world, smile.
But as I'm saying this ..... I LOVE COMMENTS :~)

Me too. It just seems like silly little kid stuff. I'd rather see a meme that you can tell someone worked hard on to get a laugh, rather then something silly thrown out there just to get upvotes. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting too old, but I dont get half of the stuff on there. And the stuff I do get just seems stupid. I also think that the splintering off into so many streams kinda ruined the fun. Your memes seem to just get lost in the mix. I agree, though, the comments are sometimes the best part!

I was recently invited to be a moderator in the cats stream - So much confusion as to what is admissable - some I just don't understand ! :~)
