Depends on what the situation is.

if they go through it, then yes.

That can mean a lot of things

lets say a kid undergoes sexual abuse, then they should know about it. a kid who doesn't shouldn't know. when a kid hits puberty, they should learn what will happen to them. a girl should not be told about what happens to a boy during puberty. it's irrelevant. the 16-18 is just for other things.
