I heard from one of my friends that he was talking with one of the two leaders, and said leader told my friend that a straight “ally” who co-leads was misgendering them, and my friend said that there could be a lot of poor leadership for it, and that he wasn’t gonna put up with misgendering, invalidating people, or any other crap that could happen. Plus one of the leaders didn’t even want to discuss LGBTQ issues, so that’s kind of a red flag. I’m still excited though. It starts next Friday afternoon!
