they weren't trying to "take" the federal building because they thought they won an election.
but if they broke into a high security area OF that building that contained the top leaders of our nation, they would have been shot.
The protestors outside the capitol weren’t trying to take the Capitol either. As video shows them strolling around talking to officers. No legislators were ever in danger. Regardless of your feels. How do you feel about the Puerto Ricans that attacked the Capitol and shot Senators?

If you take the same circumstances and simply changed her identity to a black male BLM marcher you would have a totally different take because your take isn’t based on conviction. It’s based on who you agree with and your feels.
