Sure. That's simple to the point of wasting time is all, especially when we live in a very negative time. Raising up good things isn't a denial of bad things. And the existence of some bad everywhere doesn't make everything the same. We can still see some things as better than others, though it calls into question one's values. Personally, I have never not related to most indigenous value systems more than some European ones.
Sure, the Cherokee and some other first nations had some awful values, but others had amazing ones. For example, among the Iroquois - they call themselves Haudenosaunee - you would only ever see hungry orphans, widows, or elders in the very worst times because it was understood the greatest dishonor of all was to have extra food when the needy were still hungry. You could keep what you and your family needed, but no more until ever other community member was taken care of. All for one, and one for all in their own way.
