What makes someone a homophobe in your book?

This caricature is wrong, since it's not all types of Christianity that make you hate LGBTQ+ people, but in a way, you're right. You need a new religion if you hate LGBTQ+, God never supported LGBTQ+, but never said harassing them or hating them was okay either.

I find the dictionary is always a good place to start with these things.

IG rejects the dictionary’s definition and insists on defining the term as “fear of gay people,” and then says he isn’t.

Ig might not have the same exact views on lgbtq as i do and i hope ig doesnt hate lgbtq members. But hear me say this i dont hate anyone i care about you sloth. and no i dont hate lgbtq and neither does ig its called disagreeing and it has nothing to do with hate :) I dont hate someone who is lgbtq i just dont agree. simple as that. im still going to kindly respect people who are lgbtq but i will not support you in your actions.
