We used to blame the "Idiot Box," or all our problems. Before that, it was "The Talkies."

I am not defending anybody. If he has committed any crimes, he should be charged and tried for them. If his company's behavior has exposed things people don't like about the system, get enough votes to change it. I just don't think you can blame his company for every one of society's problems. People misused his company for disinformation purposes. Police those people better. I don't blame car companies or phone makers for the distracted teen driver who ran a stop sign and totaled my perfect conditioned Malibu, costing me thousands of dollars. I blame his parents. I blame the parents of Facebook addicted teens for not being better monitors of their kids' time.

Keynes taught us to make a behavior in the self interest of the person we wanted to change. Who was he? Just an old capitalist who gets blamed for socialism by people who don't seem to know the difference.
