Why they don’t give themselves a gender. If you’re a boy, you’re a boy. If you’re a girl, you’re a girl. Simple.

they do give themselves a gender. Nonbinary is a gender, it's not agender, which is having no gender. The non binary gender is just sort of a blanket term for a gender that isn't male or female.
