It’s scattered in shards on the ground- “no no no no no-“ Michiko kneels down to try and gently pick them all up, but cuts her finger

Michiko begins to cry

She cries on her knees, trying to pick up all the pieces

The girl’s hands are littered with cuts, and yet she still tries to salvage the instrument

“Well- do you have a mother?”

Girl: Why would I want one

“. . .tah. People who do not love are awful. You wouldn’t understand because you’re just a greedy hog.” Her attitude flips in an instant

Girl: Is wanting enough food to survive greedy? I would think you more greedy for crying over an instrument when you clearly have enough to eat
