Emerald nodded and looked at her "How's your day going?" Emerald asked as she flipped a hair strand off her face

Kate responded, "Not bad. How about you?"

"Doing great." she smiled and flipped her black-wavy hair to her back

"H-huh?!?" Kate quickly looked away and turned around so Emerald couldn't see her embarrassment

Kate tried to look away, but couldn't help but stare at her.

Emerald smiled "Something piqued your interest?" she said jokingly and giggled.
