Well, me of course, lol 😝.
But yeah, in middle and early high school I read a lot of Farside and Calvin and Hobbes as far as comics go.
As far as more serious 🧐 but fun 🤩 YA goes, Redwall and Animorphs-I was big into those.
Outer net was a fun parody of books like Animorphs.
I technically read CS Lewis and Lord of the Rings at that age, but it didn’t sink in as well. I mean Narnia sunk in ok, but the other stuff didn’t quite digest.
It was also the time when I tried to read the Bible, but that was more serious and not fun.
