Proposals regarding the senate

Proposal 3

In order for a stream to be represented, it must have an active membership (at least 3 different users posting per week)

Proposal 2

In order for a stream to be represented, it must have a minimum of 50 followers

Proposal 4

In order for a stream to be represented, that stream must hold an election of some kind to choose the senator. This may be a general election, or an election by moderators, or by owners, etc.

*if passed, this law will not take effect until after the October election is finished*

Each stream represented shall receive 1 senator

Proposal 1

The house shall be composed of 20 members. Membership will be based off the head of congress election results. Every 5% of the vote (rounded up at 2.5 and down at 2.4) that a HOC candidate receives will entitle them to 1 pick for Congress. For example, HOC candidate A receives 42% of the vote, and candidate B receives 28% of the vote. After rounding, candidate A has 8 sets of 5%, and thus receives 8 picks for congress, and candidate B has 6 sets of 5%, and thus receives 6 picks for congress. This will ensure that members in the stream are fairly represented in congress
