Yep, I gave ‘em a 3-day deadline on this, and they blissfully ignored it for 2 solid days, and now the night before they’re panicking and lashing out and blaming the process and the other side and a-this-ah and a-that-ah.
Happens alllllll the freaking time in my industry. Which may or may not be legal-related. :)
And whenever this happens? Inevitably, you just give ‘em more time to answer. It’s the nice thing to do.
So, yeah. Now that they realize what the heck this “subpoena” thing is, they can give me a timeframe that works for them and answer on their schedule.
(I was trying to be nice and give them a chance to wrap up this whole impeachment deal this week, but if they’d rather drag it out…)
