To all the Xers, my fellow Xennials, as well as the elder Millennials, it's hard to believe that our anthem premiered 30 years ago today on MTV's 120 Minutes. It put an end to any further glam metal ballads, which dominated the airwaves throughout the 1980s, and ushered; in the delightfully dreary Emerald City sound that made you want to slit your wrist, so your loved ones could watch you fade away in your favorite flannel shirt.
