How very General-like of him.

Did you know every President has been given "The Art of War" as a gift? Trump reportedly didn't read it.

Trump had no plan to wage war on China. China thought we were going to attack. Milley called to say "Hey, easy, there is no plan to attack you."

That's it. That was the purpose of his calls. He doesn't need orders to do that as that's in his job description.

Trumpers are just p*ssed at Milley for saying the military could stand to be more woke. That's what all this is about. Ever since that clip of his speech before Congress made the rounds, racist Trumpers have been trying to cancel him.

It was entirely reasonable that China would consider the idea that Trump might attack as a real possibility. The phone call was reasonable. No such worry exists with the current administration. The Taliban received no pushback from American forces. That made it crystal clear to the world that his handlers would rather he avoid conflict with even a weak adversary. Civilians and children, like baby formula factories and consulates of the past, are apparently suitable targets.

That is quite a lot of propaganda. It's not welcome here. Get out of here with your hyper-partisan propaganda.

Red is one instance, green is another instance. Orange denotes that I took one of your sources you posted.

With red you're referring to the notion that Biden has "handlers" and by extension of the rhetoric, "dementia."
Not gonna be tolerating people spreading lies like that here.
Green, you're saying that these are the choices of targets, you even mischaracterized the attitude of the armed forces/pentagon as a whole with cowardice, which, isn't true.
Nevermind the atrocities by the previous admin. You're here to bark about only one admin because it suits your agenda. GTFO this stream or straighten up your act.

I truly hope you're correct that he is in complete control of his faculties. The best evidence I've seen is actually a comedy routine by Robin Williams about trying to understand what Biden was saying. I hope that indicates he is at least as sharp now as he was back then. I hope that when he says things about what he has been told that he can or can't do, that it's figurative language. I'm trying to keep an open mind, but I keep seeing his feeds cut. He set quite the record for how long after he was inaugurated to his first press conference. Early on, I was hoping to see some kind of Juan Peron on the balcony speech by the president with the highest vote tally in history to spell out his vision. He isn't anywhere close to the speaker of Obama or Reagan, but I would hope he could do as well as Carter or Bush. C'mon man!

Problem is you're setting expectations.

I expect someone in a leadership position to be able to converse about their thoughts. Is that an unreasonable expectation?
0 ups, 3y
He does.

Honestly, I'd rather someone keep their mouth shut if they dont know the answer or have forgotten, rather than to directly lie or spew bull shit.

I love it when people cite intelligence, then have the stupidity to mention it online.

Clearly, you've never been in intelligence.

I understand the skepticism and respect it. If someone you know claims to have such a background, it is a simple matter to ask their parent about the investigation. If no investigator from the DIA has spoken to them, then they do not have clearances. If it's some random twerp on the internet, then you have zero ability to authenticate. But, like the people who feel certain that UFOs are alien in origin, certainty in the absence of facts is not warranted. Suspicions, opinions, expectations... absolutely, but you can't be certain. And I admit I was surprised that I was telling you that you were correct, and then you decided to argue the opposite. Interesting.

An absolutely brilliant answer! My assessment is that it's less likely to be true than someone getting a high score on the ASVAB when they joined the military and getting a cool job, but hey! Love the reply!

That doesn't always correlate to, well, much of anything. And I'm guessing that the most common degree in congress is law. Haven’t you seen members of congress, with degrees, that you personally wouldn't trust to be chief dog catcher for a small town?

"I thought congress was the joke. A good one. It was definitely on point to my reply and showed thorough understanding. Degrees seemed a little ham-fisted, but I was willing to set up the 'rule of threes' for you to bring it home. Oh well."

Wow, for working intelligence, you're pretty focused on your side of the conversation... Not really a trait of someone in intelligence. Nor is stating your affiliation with them.

Call BS.

You said I missed the joke. I was trying to explain my understanding of things in the conversation. Not making a briefing ; -)

Yes, your understanding is very short-sighted; you can't see past your nose.

To understand this better, imagine if he called to tell them Trump WAS going to attack when he was NOT going to attack. He exceeded his role and authority. That is the problem here.
1 up, 3y
That's a different matter entirely.

I can't believe you think those are two very similar situations.. I didn't think that people could be so short-sighted.
