eh i don't think getting a sick pet is really a pain in the head why? because all my animals died because for some f- ing reason some idiot kept opening the cage and let them out just to get ran over-ed by some truck.

It means some owners feel mental pain/stress about their pet dying. Most people have deep emotional connections to their pets, so it’s mostly relatable
