Ima get this out the way. I don't support discrimination in any way, shape or form. What IG was retaliating to was the threat of impeachment you said to him. What IG did was wrong, he shouldn't be deleting comments that contain lgbtq, even though it is irrelevant to the stream (well, OP's was).
