Australia's asian neighbors enjoying more Freedom

Yes and no. The country has been under public activity restrictions since January and "Emergency" restrictions for almost 3 months now. Proof of vaccines required to enter malls, children under 12 not allowed, same at hotels. They are quietly vaxxing school children.

This meme is a joke. Tho, I can direct you to videos from Jakarta this month, which will show you on their daily routines and how things are almost normal, but I can't post links here, can I? Never tried.

At this time today, Indonesians ada (have) more Freedoms than Australians. And Indo Polisi aren't bashing the brains out of their own Asian citizens in the streets cause of "non-mask" compliance. No, they just don't have the same Infrastructure/Manpower/$$$ like Australia enjoys. It's difficult to enforce Martial Law on 200,000,000 mostly Islamic people.

Oh I agree. It's a good meme. Australians incredibly have to ask their government to leave the country. Now we're hearing Victoria shut down the internet and I haven't been able to find any protest videos the past two days. It has been pretty restrictive in Jakarta and malls and hypermarkets have been near deserted for over a year, but yes recently things are getting busy, but as a pretty compliant Asian culture there haven't been any major protests and the government is guilty of some intimidation tactics and fake news to dissuade people from doing so.
