Upvotes are not a cryptocurrency and are only a mere button with hardly any purpose. They, however, have been wrongfully used to support meaningless and faulty assumptions about any form of media, and ImgFlip is no better and no different than any of them. I'm tired of seeing the same pointless arguments of "why this meme is begging or this meme isn't" (I'm more focused on why people can't learn to cast the uncreative and opinionated memes aside and why mods aren't chosing original content over nepotism.)
After all, the main stream of ImgFlip is "FUN," and upvotes were only made to approve the humor and creativity of a meme. Look around! It's all just a worthless cesspool of unethical competition, and upvotes are the only way to assert minor dominance on the front page. I'm sick and tired of the abuse and immoral importance the voting system has gotten these years. PSA: If every user (new inexperienced users especially) can just stop arguing and talking about upvotes, THAT WOULD BE GREAT!
