Hey! Greattttttt arrrrt!
So, I have a question-
Whenever I draw, the eyes are always looking lopsided and weird. How do you get them perfect like that?-

Thanks!
And for eyes I usually try to align them using my pencil, first I draw the pupils and make sure they are straight and about the same size as each other, this sometimes takes multiple attempts so just keep erasing until you get it right. The hardest parts are the top and bottom "border lines" and the eyelashes, which I tend to do a line straight out that curves a bit. Before drawing these, you should deside how far they will go for the eye width and softly sketch a vertical line on the part of the face where the eyes end, so that both the top and bottom eyelashes will not be lopsided and hopefully look a lot more balanced. I'm not the best at explaining, sorry, but I can show a diagram if you want-

HOW DO YOU SHADE SO WELL WITH COLOR?!

Thanks so much, I'm still learning tho but yeah I've gotten better over time.
In this drawing for example in the guy's hair, which is a solid red color on the left and solid orange on the right, initially the right side of his hair was kind of pinkish bc it was a light shade of red, which gradually got darker as it went left. In other words, I used red for the dark shaded parts and orange for the lighter more illuminated portions, and I blended them by softly layering them to make a gradient. My art teacher told me to never press down hard on any pencil when coloring, but instead softly blend and add layers in order to make form apparent or something, so that's what I do.

Damn imgflip really downscaled the quality of the picture a bit lol
