On a per capita basis Covid deaths are still significantly a lot less than Spanish flu deaths. There’s probably at least 10 to 12 countries with higher per capita death rates than the US.
The countries with the lowest death rates (mostly under 100 deaths/Million population) are tropical rainforest African countries where HCQ for malaria and ivermectin for river blindness are safely and routinely administered.
