Ok, my biggest question: how many genders are there? It would be great if someone explained what they all mean as well. I only know the basic shit like gay, lesbian and bisexual (I guess these are more sexual orientations than genders but I think you get my point).

The reason this is my biggest question is I’m getting conflicting answers.

Genders are like colors. Thee are three primary ones that can be blended infinitely. There can be a somewhat or complete lack of gender. They can even be changed on a regular basis.

There are an infinite amount of genders. Some of the most common ones (at least that I’ve seen) are cisgender, which is when you identify with your birth assigned gender, bigender, which is where you identify with 2 genders, polygender, which is where you identify with many but not all genders, pangender, which is where you identify with all genders (sometimes both all and none), agender, which is where you identify as no genders, and then demigirl, which is where you are mostly a girl but also identify with some male stuff, and Demiboy, which is where you are mostly boy but identify with some girl stuff

Demigirl is actually when you're semi female, semi enby. Its under the enby umbrella. Same for demiboy, but male instead of female
