I feel indifferent about it. Bad things happening in your life doesn't lead to atheism | I was talking to someone the other day and they mentioned that they were an atheist at one point in their life (they're a Christian). They explained that they were so sad and depressed that they gave up on god and once they regained happiness they believed in god again. Some people use religion as a anchor of hope

About 18 months ago, when I was extremely suicidal (I’m better now though), I almost became a theist because I had to believe that there was a higher power to eventually make things better. So yes, religion is definitely a way of staying hopeful.

I'm personally indifferent to religion. Sure, I believe that there is some God, but that's about it. I don't do any of the traditional things like praying or going to church.
